Asians Abroad - Weekend Wrap

There were a host of Asian players in action across Europe over the weekend, the following is a list of those that featured for their teams.

Song Jin-hyung (KOR) – 50th minute substitute for FC Tours in their 2-2 with Laval in the French Ligue.2

Yuto Nagatomo (JPN) – 72nd minute substitute for Inter Milan in their 0-1 loss to Juventus in the Italian Serie A

Koo Ja-cheol (KOR) – 64th minute substitute for Wolfsburg in their 0-1 loss to Hamburger SV in the German Bundesliga

Ryo Miyaichi (JPN) – scored a goal in the 18th minute for Feyenoord in their 2-1 win over Heracles in the Dutch Eredivisie

Lee Chung-yong (KOR) – 60th minute substitute for Bolton in their 2-0 win over Everton in the English Premier League

Park Chu-young scores from the spot for AS Monaco

Park Chu-young (KOR) – played a full game and scored a goal in the 94th minute for AS Monaco in their 3-1 win over Lorient in the French Ligue.1

Ki Sung-yueng (KOR) – 63rd minute substitute for Celtic in their 3-1 win over Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League

Nam Tae-Hee (KOR) – played a full game for Valenciennes in their 3-0 win over Brest in Ligue.1

Eiji Kawashima (JPN) – played a full game for Lierse in their 2-2 draw with Germinal Beerschot in the Belgian Pro-League

Atsuto Uchida (JPN) – played a full 90 minutes for Schalke 04 in their 1-0 over Freiburg in the Bundesliga

Maya Yoshida (JPN) – played a full game, and picked up a yellow card, for VVV Venlo in their 0-3 loss to ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie

Daisuke Matsui (JPN) – was substituted after 60 minutes in Grenoble’s 0-1 loss to Le Mans in Ligue.2

Takayuki Morimoto (JPN) – 64th minute substitute for Catania in their 3-2 win over Lecce in the Serie A

Masoud Shojaei (IRN) – was substituted after 64 minutes for Osasuna in their 0-1 loss to Real Sociedad in the Spanish La Liga

Javad Nekounam (IRN) – played a full game for Osasuna in their 0-1 loss to Real Sociedad in La Liga

Bassim Abbas (IRQ) – substituted after 46 minutes for Konyaspor in their 4-2 win over Bucaspor in the Turkish Super Lig
